Raise Your Cups For Awareness

12th May is - World Fibromyalgia Day, and a coffee morning/afternoon tea would be a great way of attracting media coverage and raising the profile and awareness of Fibromyalgia. I’m sure that many of you will have heard of the efforts of the McMillan Cancer Trust this year holding a national coffee morning. We Cup of Coffeewould like to mirror their efforts and hold a national Coffee Morning/Tea Afternoon on behalf of FMA UK.

Our request to you is that you hold either a coffee morning (or similar) however small or large. We would welcome ideas as to how to make this event a nationwide success. An idea from one of our group leaders is that each event has a one prize raffle, the proceeds of which are donated to FMA UK.  We are currently contacting various companies to request they donate drinks, cakes etc, and should we be successful, we will distribute these as packs. This would hopefully lower the costs.

Could you please contact me (Sharon Stephenson) with your thoughts and ideas, Thank you.
