How do I post a link to another site?

To post a link to an external site, either start your new topic or reply to the current topic as usual, then where you see the 2 lines of BBC tags look for by clicking this you will notice the following text appear in the textbox, [*url][*/url] you need to put the link between the 2 command boxes so it looks like this, [*url]http://www.thewebpage.com[*/url]. Please note i have included "*" for the benefit of explanation, please ensure your post doesn't include the * or it will not work correctly.
