Self Care Week 2010

Clear your diary for a week in November perhaps? NHS Choices is promoting a week where self care is promoted and recognised which will be something of relevance to people with fibromyalgia.

November 15-21 is Self Care Week, during which there will be lots of events and activities around the country to promote and explain the benefits of self care.

Find out what’s happening in your area through your local primary care trust (PCT). If you don’t already know it, you can search for your local PCT here.

There are lots of helpful pieces of information on the website with links to sites and events that may be of interest. Perhaps you or your support group could liaise with your local PCT and ensure that fm is covered as part of their events or participate in a planned meeting.
