Netherlands Celebrate 20 years anniversary!
The Netherlands Fibromyalgia Association will be celebrating 20 years on Friday 12th May 2006 at a Congress with an International feel. Speakers will include Robert Bennett, Muhammed Yunus, Karl Henrikson, Kaisa Mannerkorpi. On Saturday 13th May, Fibromyalgia Patients will enjoy a day full of speakers and workshops to mark the celebrations.
During the weekend, the European Network of Fibromyalgia Associations will hold a committee meeting. The ENFA committee consits of Robert Boelhouwer, Chairman, also the chairman of the Netherlands Fibromyalgia Association, Jorun Laegraid, Treasurer, also Vice Chair of Norway’s Fibromyalgia Association, Janet McFarlane, Secretary, and FMA UK Trustees, Pia Hallin , is a Representative from Denmark and Alister McFarlane, is Chairman FMA Scotland, all were elected at the general meeting in Scotland last September. The main topics on the agenda are likely to include - preparations for the general meeting in France this September, finance & fundraising, website and collating information from member associations regarding their views and policies on Fibromyalgia.
