FMA UK Annual Raffle 2007
As I’m sure most of you are aware FMA UK is a
National Charity run by sufferers and their carers. The Association’s main
aims are to help people with Fibromyalgia, their families, friends and carers,
by the dissemination of information and to promote research into the cause(s),
effective treatments and possible cure for Fibromyalgia
At present there are around 100 support groups and over 20 helplines throughout the UK, who work with FMA UK. Our National Helpline is manned five days a week by volunteers, who are all sufferers. First time enquirers are offered free information packs, and obviously this service has to be financed by FMA UK.
One of the major ways that the Association raises money is by holding our Annual Raffle which will be drawn in November. This remains one of our largest fundraising efforts, involving many people across the United Kingdom.
We would therefore like to ask you to support our fundraising efforts by buying and/or selling raffle tickets on our behalf. Our 1st prize this year is One Week in a Self-Catering Tenerife Apartment (as advertised in the FaMily magazine), and £300.00. The Villa will be available between the beginning of March and the end of April 2008. Flights are not included but of course the £300 will help with this. There are also many other prizes on offer. Tickets are 50p each or £5.00 per book
