Awareness week 2008Castleford and District Support group are taking part in the Normanton Gala and Parade on Saturday 13 September.

We have an Awareness Stall, and tombola stall and we have walkers, with me in wheelchair (as a float)  Walking are Cameron, age 6.  Keiren, age 5, Amy, age 8, Sophie and Chloe, age 12. All the children will be wearing yellow T-shirts and black shorts.  Each t-shirt will have a symptom on the back (example)  Cameron has "I am severe pain."  Keiran, "I could be the youngest sufferer".

Others have I am extreme fatigue,  I am IBS,  I am disturbed sleep.  Lucie is pushing the wheelchair with "I am a carer".   My stupid top hat will go with the rest of my stupid outfit and say "I am Fibromyalgia"
