FMA UK is a small charity dedicated to raising awareness and increasing understanding of fibromyalgia. We aim to help people learn more about the condition while supporting those living with it to achieve a better quality of life.

Location:Remote or in our office in Paisley

Time commitment: variable, flexible and dependent on the volunteer

Role Description:We’relooking for a creative and passionate volunteer to produce 2–3-minute YouTube videos for our charity supporting people with fibromyalgia. As a Video Creator Volunteer, you’llplay a key role in engaging our audience by creating high-quality, impactful video content.As part of your role, you’llhave the opportunity to transform information from health professionals into clear, accessible content for our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to identify key messages for the video content
  • Create and produce 2–3-minute YouTube videos to promote our charity
  • Use creative storytelling techniques and digital tools to communicate the message effectively
  • Edit and finalise video content
  • Upload the video to our YouTube channel and optimize it for the search engine
  • Work within the branding and guidelines of the charity

Qualifications:

  • Experience in video production, particularly for YouTube or social media
  • Knowledge of digital editing software (i.e. DaVinciResolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
  • Ability to write engaging and compelling video scripts and storyboards
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work with a fast turnaround time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for the mission of the charity and a desire to make a positive impact in the community
  • A knowledge of copyright and content attribution is essential
  • Knowledge how to apply branding consistently.
