FMA UK is a non-profit-making registered charity whose aim is to enhance awareness of Fibromyalgia. The charity is run by volunteers of hich the majority are also fibromyalgia sufferers who work extremely hard, despite their condition, in order to forward the cause of fibromyalgia. FMA UK was established in order to provide information and support to sufferers and their families. In addition, the charity provides medical information for professionals and operates a national helpline.
To help us continue our work to bring relief to all people with Fibromyalgia, we would appreciate help with fund raising, either in cash or in kind. You can be sure that all contributions are greatly appreciated, however small.
Any online donations or purchases made via this website in support of the charity will be processed securely online. Other methods of payment can also be used.
You can make a donation to FMA UK in many ways:
If you're a UK Tax Payer wishing to make a donation, please fill our Gift Aid Form. From everything you donate, FMA UK can claim back an extra 25% from the HM Revenues and Customs. In this way, a £10 donation increases to £12.50 after the tax is re-claimed. Please click here for more info on GiftAid from the UK Government website

If your Health Care Professional needs some education in fibromyalgia you can request that an FMA UK Health Professionals Pack is sent out to them. All we need is the name of the Health CareProfessional and the address of their practice. We will then send a pack to their surgery addressed from us to them.

You can find a Support Group near you by contacting the Regional Coordinator for your area. If there does not happen to be a support group near you then maybe you can join with some other members and set one up. Support groups provide a social benefit as well as the opportunity to share tips on coping with fibro. They come in all shapes and sizes and we are often told how they have helped people.
