Steps to organising a bake sale

  1. Register your fundraising with us here.
  2. Plan where and when you are going to sell (obtain permission from the owner or manager of the property if needed).
  3. Publicise your sale with posters, etc. and making sure to let your friends and family know as well. We can provide some resources about fibromyalgia like leaflets etc.
  4. Sell your bakes etc., remember to follow the relevant hygiene for your area;
    • For Scotland: https://www.foodstandards.gov.scot/downloads/Community_and_charity_events_v3.pdf
    • Rest of UK: https://www.food.gov.uk/safety-hygiene/providing-food-at-community-and-charity-events
  5. After the sale, let us know how much you have raised and send the funds to us. We will give further information about how to do this after the sale.

Additional tips

  • Add a purple, yellow or butterfly theme to reflect that your sale is aid of Fibromyalgia Action UK
  • Add a contactless option for those who want to donate by creating a JustGiving page here. You can even print off a QR code to display.
